Doing a business, we should still consider one thing, business ethics. Because it can influence the decisions that will be made by the manager. In business ethics, a firms have several basic responsibilities, responsibility to the customer, employees, stokeholders and also to the environment. Responsibility to the customer include , ensure customer safety while use our products. The safety of the customer will be also important as the credibility of our firms. This safety products will provide by providing a proper warning labels.
Next is responsibility to the employee. Employees are the key of the firm to operate their production process. That is why one of the firm responsibility to the employee is providing their safe working conditions. Beside that treating workers properly can also be their responsibilty because it still include their safety. Then, the least but it should be the firm responsibility is providing equal opportunities for employees. Equal opportunities in here means prohibit the discrimination based on origin, race, gender or religion. It is important to make the employee feel comfortable while they work.
And the third is responsibility to the stakeholder. The firm should make desicions in best interest of stokeholders. They should give an release accurate information of financial condition. Maintaning a good relation with the stakeholder can help the developed of our firm.
And the last but not the least is responsibilty to the environment. In production process, sometimes we do not give a big attention on the effect the rest towards the environment. The production process and product itself can harm the environment, such as the air pollution, and land pollution. As we know that, the condition of our environment is getting worse day to day. That is why the firm should have the responsibilty to our envrionment. They should maintain a clean environment.
